On July 28 in 2023, the 31st Summer World University Games will be held in Chengdu. The FISU Games Village in Chengdu University has been well prepared . The beautiful expectations of the public for the FISU Games are about to become a reality.

“We make a contribution to the FISU Games with our wisdom and strength.” An official from Chengdu University said , “ The university has done a lot of work for this event, in addition to striving to build the FISU Games Village, we made efforts in the design of mascot , torch , and medals.”

Xu Liaoyuan , the honorary dean of the College of Chinese & ASEAN Arts of CDU , who has participated in the design of the Universiade torch, explained the meaning of the torch’s name "Rong Huo". “ ‘Rong’ comes from the abbreviation of Chengdu , and ‘Rong Huo’ means harmony in Chinese.” 

Ma Liwa , from the College of Chinese & ASEAN Arts of CDU, is the chief designer of “Rong Guang”, which is the medal ribbon of the FISU Games. She organized a designer team containing 20 students in Chengdu University. “This ribbon was made of Shu Jin, which is a perfect fusion of traditional culture and modern sports.” 

“Rong Bao”, the mascot of the FISU Games. It was designed by the teachers and students from the College of Chinese & ASEAN Arts of CDU.

“Eighteen Mobao” are the logos of the eighteen events of the FISU Games. These logos are lovely and dynamic, merging the traditional and modern art, and the concept of green development together. They are designed by Zhang Sisi’s Team from the College of Chinese & ASEAN Arts of CDU.
