讲座题目：Floating Structures（漂浮结构）

主讲人简介：

赵晓林教授，现任香港理工大学土木及环境工程学系土木基础设施讲座教授，香港全球杰出教授, 澳大利亚技术科学与工程院院士。 曾任澳大利亚蒙纳士大学土木工程系终身讲席教授及土木工程系主任， 澳大利亚新南威尔士大学工程学院副院长。获得德国洪堡基金颁发的洪堡研究奖，国际焊接协会Thomas 奖章。主要研究领域为高性能可持续材料在土木工程中的应用、钢-混凝土-复合材料组合结构，漂浮结构。

主讲内容简介：

Floating structure technology plays an important role in sustainable development of megacities, renewable energy generation and establishing blue economy. This presentation will start with the recent development on floating structures and the challenges. The talk will then briefly introduce recent work at PolyU on floating structures, including UHPC, FRP bars, FRP construction, Fe-SMA prestressed UHPC, floating pontoons, analysis of Modular Floating Structure, wave response spectrum method.
