学术讲座：互联网及信息技术在公共领域的应用

张彦春教授，澳大利亚维多利亚大学应用信息学研究中心主任；澳大利亚研究理事会专家委员会委员；国际互联网杂志(World Wide Web)主编；国际互联网信息系统工程与技术丛书(WISE-IT)主编；澳大利亚华人信息与通讯科技专业协会(ACICT)主席；国际互联网信息系统工程协会(WISE)主席；全澳华人学者联合会常务副主席；
张彦春教授长期从事数据库，数据挖掘，协同事务管理，网络信息管理，网络服务，网络信息系统工程及应用方向的研究。在这些领域发表学术论文200多篇，其中多次发表在国级一类杂志 (如 ACM TRANS，IEEE TRANS) 和经SCI检索；并著书和编书12余部。
Short Biography:
Yanchun Zhang is currently a full Professor and Director of Centre for Applied Informatics at Victoria University. He obtained a PhD degree in Computer Science from The University of Queensland in 1991. He was a research fellow at UQ and CRC Distributed Distributed Systems Technology from 1991 to 1993, and an academic member (lecturer, senior lecturer and then associate professor) in the Department of Mathematics and Computing at University of Southern Queensland from 1994 to June 2003. He has been active in areas of database and information systems, distributed databases, Web and internet technologies, Web information systems, Web data management, Web mining, Web search, Web services, and e-Research. He has published over 160 research papers in refereed international journals and conference proceedings, and authored/edited over dozen books/proceedings and journal special issues. His research has been supported by ARC Discovery (formally Large Grant) and e-Research Projects. He is a member of Member Supporting Committee of Victorian Partnership for Advanced Computing. He is the winner of 2005 Victoria University Vice-Chancellor’s Medal for Excellence in Research. He is currently communication expert panel member of for Cheung Kong Scholars Programme from Ministry of Education of China (since 2006), and a member of Australian Research Council (ARC) College of Experts (2008-2010), and a steering committee member of The ARC Research Network in Enterprise Information Infrastructure (EII). He held honorary professor positions at several universities/institutions in China, including Chinese Academy of Sciences, Wuhan University, Xiamen University, Northerneast University, Hubei University, Hebei Polytechnic University and Hebei Normal University, and visiting professor position at Nagoya University in Japan (2006/7).
He is Editor-In-Chief of World Wide Web: Internet and Web Information Systems, the Editor of Web Information Systems Engineering and Internet Technologies Book Series by Springer, and Chairman of Web Information Systems Engineering (WISE) Society.
讲座内容简介：
网络技术的迅猛发展已经使得万维网成为一个传播信息，搜索信息、业务处理的重要的应用平台。e-Research 是指利用信息技术来促进现有和新兴学科研究的活动，可以翻译为信息技术应用研究，有时也称为信息技术创新应用，多学科创新技术研究等。它主要指利用各种先进信息技术所从事的研究活动，包含在使用各种网络，服务和工具时出现的各种新的研究方法。其主要特点包括以下几点：协同性，在网格环境下和数据密切相关性。本讲座对维多利亚大学应用信息技术研究中心正在进行的互联网及信息技术在公共领域的应用的若干科研项目e-Health, e-Environment, e-Business, e-Education, e-Community, e-Security等进行介绍。e-health项目主要由四部分组成：流行病数据管理系统，病人信息连接和传送系统，基于Web的流行病数据Google地图显示，和基于聚类的步态分析。e-water项目旨在建立以数据挖掘网格为中心的水资源智能知识管理与数据分析应用平台。该智能知识管理系统建立在下一代水资源数据网格的基础之上，重点解决如何有效地组织和管理多种分散、复杂的异构信息源和多种挖掘与推理方法。E-Security主要包括两个项目：数字法律信息共享和管理的P2P协同研究网络，和分布式数据挖掘中的隐私保护。 e-Business将介绍一种支持相容、可靠协同商业交易的框架模型。e-Education涉及认知模型，软件代理和多代理系统，普适计算，数字交互媒体，增大/混合现实，文本－语音技术，声音识别，无线标识以及相关技术。E-Community 包括两个项目AuSTO和 IV-TRS，分别用于e-Tourism systems的本体论研究和开发一种智能化可视旅行推荐系统。最后将介绍维多利亚大学应用信息技术研究中心在基础研究中的两个重点方向：Web数据管理和服务计算。
